House rules
What is stencilled by the door
One page, painted at the entrance, repeated at the benches and applied by staff without argument.
Coming in
Who gets through the door
- Eighteen and over, dining end included, with no exception for a family group.
- Photo ID may be asked for at the entrance or at any bench, at any hour.
- The floor can turn someone away without giving a reason for it.
- Assistance animals are welcome; the rest of them wait in the ute.
At the benches
What the felt allows
- Chips are the shed's property, count points and carry no monetary value at all.
- Any money passed between players ends that hand, and the second time it ends the night.
- Decks come from the bar; a personal pack does not go on the felt.
- Staff can move players between benches to keep numbers even.
- Scores are torn up at close and nothing carries over to another evening.
In the shed
Everyone else's evening
- Phones off the felt; calls are taken by the loading doors.
- Ask before you photograph a bench you are not sitting at.
- Service stops for anyone who has clearly had enough, and it is not negotiated.
- We will ring for a car at any hour we are open, and we would rather you let us.
